It’s no wonder why the coastal city of Pattaya in Thailand is such a popular tourist destination. It boasts beaches, water sports facilities, sightseeing attractions, as well as good food, shopping and nightlife.

The city offers something for everyone and is a perfect destination for a holiday property rental.

Not surprising, Pattaya is ideal for a beach holiday. You need look no further than Pattaya Beach, which is 4 km long. Here you can hire a deckchair and umbrella, chill out and watch the world go by. You can visit The Sanctuary of Truth, which is an amazing huge construction made out of wood. You can enjoy looking at the amazing carvings and also watch a dolphin show while you’re there. Also worth a visit is Khao Pattaya View Point & Wat Khao Phra Bat. At the top of a small hill you can enjoy a panoramic view of Pattaya City and Pattaya Bay. You can also see the Wat Khao Phra Bat temple up there. Other attractions in the area include Underwater World Pattaya, which is a large, modern aquarium and boasts an underwater tunnel, and The Bottle Art Museum, which houses a collection of mini sculptures inside glass bottles. There’s also Ripley’s Believe it or not Museum, Mini Siam (which features miniature reconstructions of many of Thailand’s big tourist attractions), Elephant Village, Siriporn Orchid Farm – and more!

Pattaya is well served by shops, if you’re looking to do a spot of shopping. You can stock up on beach gear, souvenirs etc. And you won’t go hungry or thirsty in Pattaya, as there’s a good selection of restaurants in the area. Whatever your taste, you should find a suitable eaterie. Whether you’re looking for a fast food outlet or a gourmet restaurant, you will be catered for in Pattaya.

Pattaya also boasts some great vibrant nightlife. Walking Street, for example, is brimming with entertainment and fun. It has bars, night clubs, discos, cabaret shows etc.

There is no shortage of sun, sea, sand and fun in the city of Pattaya. This area of Thailand is an ideal destination for a holiday property rental. There is a variety of self-catering accommodation on offer to visitors, depending on your needs and budget.

  2. Well it’s practically the holidays and out of interest I wondered what most of you will be getting up to in these tough times!

    Are you:

    a) Going on your normal vacation
    b) Swapping to a self catering break to save on costs
    c) Stopping in your own country to save costs
    d) Not taking a holiday at all
    e) Going “to hell with it” and having the holiday of a lifetime!

    I’d love to be doing E, but I know we’re going to be doing C or probably D.

  35. It’s a light bulb plain and simple. The only reason it lasts as long as it does is due to the length of time it’s on. Learn to live with out or remove the cabinet and replace it. Be sure to get the proper bulb for that micro. Make sure the new bulb is tight. A loose bulb will shortren it’s life. Do not disturbe the door. Remove screws on back and bottom of the cabinet . It will slide back and up
